Remarks: For club member rates, $450 must be placed on deposit. There is a one time deductible insurance fee of $20.  Monthly Dues are $23. While the name includes "Club", I am including this in the Flying School Area because it is not a non-profit organization, it's rates are higher than the typical club, and membership is not required for rental, though non-members will be charged more. Golden State offers a 40 hour Ground School. Aircraft may be rented at Retail rates by non-club members who have satisfied the checkout requirements.

I have created this website to tell viewers all about pilot training, flight instruction, and opportunities to learn to fly, either through a pilot school or independent instruction in the San Diego, California area. It is for viewers seeking flying lessons and flying schools, those who want to find flight training information for obtaining a pilot license, and for those who are already pilots.

These pages will also  provide pilots with information about various flying clubs and San Diego flight training sources, as well as providing information about the steps and requirements associated with becoming a pilot.
